“I have a strong interest in the area of maternal mental health. Having a child has made me keenly aware of the expectations women often place on themselves in hopes of living up to the ideal of the ‘perfect’ mother. I want to help women navigate the journey of motherhood in a way that allows for them to be open and honest in their experiences. It is important to normalize the overwhelming and scary thoughts and feelings that all too often lead a mother to believe that she is not good enough.”
