Alexa received her Bachelor of Science in psychology and a minor in business from The Pennsylvania State University in 2014. In May 2016, she received her Masters of Education from Temple University in Counseling Psychology and is now a Licensed Associate Counselor in New Jersey. While attending graduate school, she completed her internship at The
Alexa has experience working individually with children, adolescents, and adults as well as couples and families. Alexa has clinical experience working with women who struggle with eating disorders, anxiety, depression, and trauma. Alexa incorporates theoretical orientations into her practice such as Person-Centered therapy, Cognitive Behavioral therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. She uses an eclectic approach involving various techniques to help achieve the most growth and wellness possible for her clients.
