Caitlin Ware, Graduate Intern

Caitlin is a graduate-level intern therapist pursuing a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Drake University. She earned her undergraduate degree from Rowan University in Glassboro, New Jersey. Caitlin has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults. 

Caitlin utilizes several evidence-based therapies in her approach to counseling, including Person-Centered Therapy, Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). She has received training in play therapy and art therapy, and frequently welcomes techniques from both modalities into the therapy space. Her clinical interests include anxiety disorders, trauma, grief, family-of-origin challenges, attachment work, and disordered eating.

As part of her training and clinical work with the Artemis Center for Guidance, Caitlin will be receiving training and ongoing supervision in exposure-based treatment modalities for anxiety and OCD.
