Zahra is a Licensed Associate Counselor in the State of New Jersey. Zahra graduated from Rowan University with a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Zahra has worked with adolescents and adults with concerns such as trauma, depression, anxiety, grief, relationship challenges, among other concerns.

Zahra uses a trauma-informed approach to help clients who feel stuck in life, move towards their goals. Zahra has completed Level 1 of eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) and is currently pursuing certification in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, a somatic approach to healing trauma. Other approaches also utilized include attachment-based therapy, cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), and parts work therapy.
