Jessica is a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) in New Jersey with a Master of Education in
School Counseling from CUNY Hunter College. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology,
with a focus on Community Organizing and Social Change from SUNY Purchase College.
Additionally, Jessica is a licensed School Counselor in both New Jersey and New York State.
With a decade of experience working with children and young adults within the New York City
Department of Education, Jessica has developed expertise in supporting individuals with learning
and behavioral disorders. Her proficiency extends to managing Individual Education Plans
(IEPs) and Behavioral Intervention Plans (BIPs). Her expertise includes addressing concerns
such as depression, anxiety, and ADHD, as well as supporting parents and families through their
unique challenges. She also has extensive experience working with LGBTQ+ individuals,
demonstrating a strong commitment to inclusive and affirming care.
Jessica is passionate about employing an empathic, person-centered, strengths-based approach in
her practice. She is committed to meeting clients at their current stage in their personal journey
and assisting them in identifying tools for self-growth. Emphasizing the importance of
community and collaboration, she is dedicated to creating a compassionate and empowering
environment where clients can explore their strengths and achieve meaningful personal and
emotional growth.
