Olivia is a therapist-in-training in New Jersey and a graduate student at Rowan University where she is completing her Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She has previously earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with a minor in Public Health at Arcadia University.
Olivia has worked at the Women’s Center of Montgomery County, where she supported women living with intimate partner violence. She is pursuing her passion of counseling women of all backgrounds, as well as other marginalized groups such as the LGBTQIA+ community. While she hopes to counsel struggling teens and young adults, Olivia is deeply committed to providing compassionate care for all.
Olivia strives to incorporate an integrative and inclusive approach to therapy, with her clinical interests including women’s issues, sexuality and gender identity, self-esteem, anxiety, and depression, among others. Olivia firmly believes everyone deserves to be listened to and valued in a comfortable and collaborative environment. She plans to create this safe space by promoting growth and self-efficacy to foster long-lasting positive change.
“I believe every person has the ability to grow into their best self they strive to be. A key to this is having unconditional trust and confidence in yourself to bring about this change. My goal as your counselor is to provide the support and safe space you need to recognize your own strength, so that you can not only grow, but flourish.”
