Amanda is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware and registered to provide telemental health services to residents of Florida. Amanda earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Arcadia University in 2009 and her Master of Social Work in 2016. She has worked with adults with chronic mental illness since 2009.
Amanda works primarily with adolescents and adults and specializes in treating anxiety and obsessive-compulsive related disorders. She has received extensive training from the Center for the Treatment and Study of Anxiety Disorders with the University of Penn in cognitive behavioral and exposure based interventions to address these concerns. Amanda utilizes the principles from CBT and exposure based interventions both broadly, as well as, through specific use of exposure based protocols, including Exposure and Response Prevention (ExRP) for OCD and Prolonged Exposure Therapy (PE) for posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD). She has also received training using the Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions (SPACE) to help families reduce accommodations for anxiety and obsessive-compulsive related disorders.
