James Woodruff, MSS, LSW

Staff Therapist

James is a Licensed Social Worker in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. He received his Bachelor of Science in Biological & Evolutionary Psychology from The Pennsylvania State University and his Master of Social Service from Bryn Mawr College’s Graduate School of Social Work and Social Research with a focus on Clinical Social Work.

James has experience working with individuals of all ages in outpatient therapeutic, residential treatment facilities, and inpatient psychiatric environments. James has collaborated with people struggling to manage challenges associated with major depression, anxiety disorders, trauma, neuro-developmental disorders (autism, ADHD), and chronic loneliness. James embraces an eclectic approach to therapy, allowing him to meet the needs of different people by utilizing targeted interventions; these include Mindfulness techniques, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy and Cognitive Restructuring.
