Sean Carey,

Sean is a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) in New Jersey, with a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from William James College, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Maine.
Sean has experience providing counseling for children, transition age youth, and adults. He has provided therapy for a wide range of client concerns, such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and interpersonal challenges. He incorporates an integrative approach in his practice that draws from
evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), strengths-based, and person-centered modalities. His approach emphasizes empathy, collaboration and meeting each individual client where they are at to foster meaningful growth.
Sean works to help clients navigate their unique individual experiences by providing a safe and affirming environment for each client to be their authentic self.
